Golfing in Utah
The vast majority
of Utah's public golf courses are located in the cities and suburbs of the
Wasatch Front. The Wasatch Front is the name given the sprawling urban area
west of the Wasatch Mountains from Ogden to Provo. Almost 80% of Utah's
total population resides in it. You'll find numerous options in:
Ogden
(12 courses);
Salt
Lake City (over 30 courses); and
Provo
(8 courses)
St.
George in the southwest corner of
Utah is the only other destination with several courses. St. George is a
desert community popular during the winter for its moderate temperatures.
