Park City
is an attractive resort town in the Wasatch Mountains, 32 miles
east of Salt Lake City. Once a mining town, Park City now caters
to the thousands of skiers who come to its three excellent ski
resorts -- Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons.
Park City has accomodations for more than12,000 visitors, nearly
100 restaurants and tons of shops in a fairly compact downtown
area.
In summer, Park City slows down, but remains a popular destination.
It serves as a base for exploring the many hiking and mountain
biking opportunities in the surrounding mountains.
