Description
Cheyenne Mountain State Park is a very popular mountain biking area outside Colorado Springs, featuring an excellent complex of hand-cut singletrack mountain biking loops. Trail difficulty at Cheyenne Mountain State Park ranges from beginner up to expert, making this an excellent destination for riding groups of all ability levels.
Cheyenne Mountain State Park features a main trail that accesses the remainder of the loops in the complex. More trails are being built every riding season, so the riding options will continue to increase over time. The most popular trails in the Cheyenne Mountain complex include Medicine Wheel Trail, which is the most technical of the bunch, and Cougars Shadow Trail, which has some of the best singletrack in the area.
Access to Cheyenne Mountain State Park requires a $6 fee per day or season passes can be purchased for $60.
