The lakes in this area have been heavily used over the years and many camping sites show the effects of this abuse. Please practice the techniques of minimum impact camping. .The USGS Quad and most other maps label the entire route from Bald Mountain to Trial Lake as the "Notch Mountain Trail" and do not show the name "Notch Lake Trail"..
