Description
Noisy, but fun for families. Also a favorite of young prom-goers on budgets. Cheery service -- young staff works hard for tips. You try carrying those trays! A big, comfortable place with lots of cozy cubbyholes and funky antiques. Located in an historic trolley barn decorated with stained glass, wrought iron gates, wood floors. Nice ambiance. Great for casual dining with kids.
Just what you'd expect. Plates of spaghetti, attempts at lasagna, rich but formulaic alfredo sauces, chicken parmigiana, crocks of garlic butter, plentiful bread, basic salads, neon-colored spumoni. Kid's menus for tiny tots and for 'juniors.'
Stick with the noodles. Favorites include spaghetti with rich meat sauce ($6.75 for a generous plate plus beverage, salad, bread and dessert); browned butter and Mizithra cheese is rich and comforting. Combo platters are good deals, too.
