Description
the River Trail runs along the Logan River from the mouth of the canyon up to the Guivanah-Malibu / Spring Hollow Campground. The trail is never too far from Hwy. 89, but it is mostly shielded by heavy plant growth. The trail begins across from the national forest sign at he beginning of the canyon, but can be accessed from several points along the way, most notably at Bridger Campground and Spring Hollow Campground. Between Spring Hollow Campground and Guivanah-Malibu Campground, the trail is known as the Riverside Nature Trail.
The Riverside Nature Trail section heads East from the entrance of Spring Hollow Campground, where it first crosses a small creek, to the Guivanah-Malibu Campground on the East. There are signs along the way with information about your surroundings and about conservation. This is a shorter, slightly more mild trail than the River Trail.

Basic Directions
From downtown Logan head east on 400 North (aka Hwy. 89). The road will bend north and climb up past the Utah State University and shortly thereafter enter Logan Canyon. The trailhead is 3/4 mile on the right side of the road just before a bridge.
