The byway begins in Mary's Corner and continues for about 110 miles to Naches. Along the way, the byway passes its namesake, 4,500 foot White Pass. At this point, the Pacific Crest National Trail can be accessed for a bit of hiking. The byway also offers excellent fishing and boating in the numerous lakes along its path. Looming nearby is Mt. Rainier. The byway passes closely to the southern most tip of Mt. Rainier National Park and gives travelers a glimpse of the beautiful dormant volcano and its fantastic surroundings.
